For my project, I chose to do two serials of photos. The first is a serial of headshots. All of the individuals are students studying abroad at the University of Stirling from the United States. For the second serial, I asked each individual to write a word on their hand that described how they were feeling about the study abroad program coming to an end and leaving Scotland. The images in the two serials are in different orders to make the viewer think about which person goes with which hand. The purpose of this collection was to demonstrate that there are many different emotions that can be felt towards the same event. To break up each serial, I chose to have the last picture be slightly different from the rest.
